This 1200-seat theater is located on the campus of Georgia Tech, and runs its annual performing arts series from September through April. The comprehensive program features representative works in numerous disciplines from many different cultures each season. Upcoming presentations include Limon Dance Company, Joshua Bell Classical and Opera. After performances, guests are invited to visit the adjoining Richards and Westbrook galleries to peruse exhibits that combine art with technology stemming from the performance pieces.

This modest turn-of-the-century home is an architectural find in itself, but most notable because it houses the apartment where Margaret Mitchell penned most of Gone with the Wind. Having survived arson and many seasons of decay, the house has been completely restored. Guided tours feature a wealth of historical and anecdotal information on Mitchell, the house and Atlanta in general. A museum shop is also on site.

Aa Synagogue established in 1958, is led by enlightened Rabbis and Cantors. Established initially as a group of less than 20 community members, the synagogue and its congregation has grown manifold. The synagogue is involved in active humanitarian work and conducts blood donation camps for the American Red Cross society and annual food drives for the needy.

One of the older suburban neighborhoods in Atlanta, Ansley Park was designed in 1904 in hopes of attracting the city's elite. It's notable for the wide, winding roads and feeling of being in a public park, even in the midst of housing divisions.
