The TPC of Scottsdale Stadium Course offers you the opportunity to play where the PGA Tour professionals play. Surrounded by spectacular mountain views, the course was designed specially to host the Phoenix Open and features spectator mounding that promises an excellent view to all in the galleries during the Tournament. The course possesses the natural flavor of the desert that lends to its beauty. Saguaro cacti and mesquite trees dot the landscape, and one of the largest Palo Verdes trees in the state, measuring 42 feet (12.8 meters), a dozen feet higher than normal, resides at the pleasant 15th hole. The Stadium Course, again like its predecessor, also radiates a contrived countenance that lends to its challenge and six water hazards, which, of course, you just don't find in arid climates.

Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club, located on Indian Bend road adjacent to the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort, stands as the crowning touch to the Scottsdale greenbelt area. Designed by the Phoenix-based firm of Gilmore-Graves, the innovative daily-fee course invites guests to a challenging round of championship golf in the heart of the Scottsdale resort area. Hitting from elevated tees, players can see much of the layout of each hole including numerous white sand bunkers, lakes, nature areas, mountain views, and hundreds of newly planted trees. The front nine plays north and south, with challenges from groupings of trees, water hazards and strategic bunkering. The back nine plays from east to west and features more contours and dramatic green settings. Compelling views of Camelback and Mummy Mountains loom in the west and compliment the soft turf contours. Silverado fits comfortably into a par-70 configuration featuring six par-3 holes and four par-5's. Managing the mix of par-3's of varying yardage is key to carding a low score. At 535 yards (489.20 meters), the 14th hole is the most demanding par-5. Silverado concludes with an extraordinary 160-yard (146.30) par-3 that plays from elevated tees to a large, well-guarded peninsula green, surrounded on three sides by a 2-acre lake in full view of the clubhouse.

The Raptor features 18 holes by Tom Fazio with Crenshaw Bent-grass greens and one of the finest desert layouts in the valley. The layout includes extensive mounding and massive bunkering, as well as shot-making pushed to the edge. It's not for beginners, and even seasoned players will struggle especially during bad weather. At the same time, it's an awesome stretch of golf from the very first hole to the last; a par-5 oddity that plays to a par-4 for professionals and par-5 for those who keep track of handicaps.
