At 6,032 yards from the white tees, this par-71 course is short. The elevated greens are well defended by traps and have some radical slopes. There is also water on every single hole. There is one fairly long par-5 and a few of the par-4s exceed 400 yards, while the par-3s are comfortably short. Distance may not be the issue here, but surgical accuracy is. Pebble Creek Country Club is a semi-private golf course. Only soft spikes are allowed.

Within the park, visitors have access to easy hiking trails, primitive trails, and off-road cycling trails. Alafia River State Park offers a full day of adventure all in one location, 354 days a year. The 6,260 acre park provides an environment for nature enthusiasts, bird watchers, campers, and hikers. For cyclists, the park has 17 miles of adventurous biking trails and for equestrians, another 20 miles of scenic trails. Alafia has full camping and shower facilities for RV's, primitive camping, and sites specifically designed for campers with horses and trailers. Visitors can fish, canoe, or kayak along the Alafia River, picnic lakeside or at the pavilion, play volleyball or horseshoes, or spend time at the children's playground.
