A space for creative, innovative and experimental artists including musicians, designers and creators of any kind, Firehouse No 13 is a shelter for art. Located within a firehouse, the space available for rent includes commercial land residential purposes. On one floor the artists can rent the space for exhibiting their works or for performances. The other floor can be rented for lodging purposes and the last floor are for long term associations.

Opened in 1896, the Museum Of Natural History & Planetarium offers an exciting range of over 250,000 exhibits that span across several centuries. Every animal on display is real and stuffed, be it the mollusks, birds, fish, mammals or reptiles. The planetarium opened in 1953, and despite constant technological innovations, the original projector used in the sky theater has still been kept for posterity. In 1837, the cathedral was established with the celebration of the first Mass. It is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence. The structure is made from brown sandstone and is a standing example of architectural brilliance. Inside the church, green marble is extensively used. Oil paintings and statues form an integral part of this church. The stained glass windows, depicting scenes from testaments, take you back in time. It also has the largest organ featuring 6,616 pipes.

Nestled in the Mount Pleasant section of Providence near Rhode Island College, this golf course won a three star rating in Golf Digest's Places to Play list. Designed by Donald Ross in 1930, this golf course is still considered a challenge by Rhode Island golfers.
