The historic Devil's Den, McClurg Covered, a King post truss covered bridge, located in Paris, Pennsylvania was built in 1880. Originally a part of Devil's Den Road, it passed Kings Creek in Paris, Pennsylvania. In 1987, the 12'3" wide and 24' long historic bridge was moved to what is now its current location and is only open to foot traffic. The bridge features red erect plan sliding, a cedar shake roof and three windows on each side. The windows are rectangular in shape. Part of an annual Covered Bridge Festival, the Washington County History & Landmarks Foundation labeled it as a historic bridge.
Listed in the Registry of Historic Places on August 29, 1980, the Davis Island Lock and Dam Site is situated in Avalon, Pennsylvania and is the location of the old Davis Island lock which was established in 1885. William Emery Merrill and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers came together to design the lock and the dam that co-existed from 1878 to 1922. Standing as the first dam to be built on the Ohio River, the Davis Island Lock and Dam officially opened on October 7, 1885. After seven years and nineteen days, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers were able to complete the project costing $810,000.

Friendship Hill National Historic Site was the home of American politician Albert Gallatin. It is maintained by the National Park Service and overlooks the Monongahela River. The original structure of the building was constructed in the Federal style with a Flemish bond. This house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 15, 1966.

The Ginger Hill region of Pennsylvania is bestowed with a historic covered bridge in the form of the Ebenezer Covered Bridge. The remarkable Washington County History and Landmarks Foundation has also declared it as a historic bridge. It was built in 1977. Spanning over 0.1 acres (0.040 hectares), the bridge occupies tremendous monumental significance. It is a superb example of the Queenpost truss style of architecture. The admission price for a visit to the bridge is completely free. The site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The national historic district of Dawson Historic District is situated at Dawson, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. The district consists of 107 contributing buildings; most among the contributing establishments were built during 1870 and 1940 showcasing some of the prominent architectural styles including the Bungalow / American Craftsman, Classical Revival, and Queen Anne. The historic district features Dawson Baptist Church among the distinguished buildings along with James Cochran House, W. H. Cochran House, Rist House, First National Bank and Masonic Hall. The district was listed in the National Registry of Historic Places in 1997 with the United Methodist Church listed separately.

The East Washington Historic District is situated in the East Washington region of Pennsylvania. It occupies immense monumental value and is also famously declared as a historic district by the Washington County History and Landmarks Foundation. It was constructed in 1875 and majority structures in the district follow the Colonial Revival, Queen Anne and the Shingle Style of architecture. It spans over roughly 36.5 acres (14.8 hectares) of land area. The historically significant district was added to the prestigious National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
The Saxonburg National Historic District is a prominent U.S. national historical district. It was constructed and developed over a massive span of time from 1831 through 1952. The most relevant styles of architectures found in the structures in this district are the Greek Revival and the Gothic Revival style of architecture. The site stands listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The site spans over a 9 acre (3.6 hectares) land cover. Most of the district is comprehensive of residential, industrial and commercial building structures.

Located in Amwell, Pennsylvania, the Hughes Covered Bridge is a historic bridge. This covered bridge was built in 1889 using Queenpost truss architectural style using sawn and hewed timber. Now the bridge is closed to vehicular traffic, but open to foot traffic. This bridge is the venue of the Annual Covered Bridge Festival, organized in the month of September every year. The structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places in Pennsylvania in 1979.
