Mayfair Country Club is a fascinating short course. Originally conceived by Donald Ross, the course would seem to have nothing difficult about it at first glance. However, the low slope rating is somewhat misleading. Overhanging and interfering trees and a wealth of sand traps give a golfer doubts on most shots. This is a semi-private golf course. Metal spikes are tolerated but not encouraged. The club is open all year round.
Designed in 1974 by George Maddox, Zellwood Station & Country Club is a wonderful little course in a rustic setting. Hills make the 18-hole course endlessly interesting. The greens are big, fast and in magnificent condition. There is a considerable amount of sand, but only five holes have water. This is a semi-private golf course. Only soft spikes are allowed. The green fees are subject to change. Check website for more details.
Although not a 'links course' in the strict sense of the term, Golden Bear Club At Keene's Pointe has an open feel and enough deep pot bunkers to make a links-like impression. The fairways are broad, but the greens are small and quick. An average player would be far better off using the Silver or Blue tees. This is a semi-private golf course. Only soft spikes are allowed.
Isleworth Country Club is an exclusive club. Play is limited to members and their guests. Players are treated to generous landing zones for drives and big greens for iron shots. The greens are fast and contain a variety of breaks. The course has some subtle elevation changes. All the holes are long from the Palmer tees. From the other tees, the par-3s and par-5s are nicely varied in distance. This is a private golf course. Soft spikes only.

The par-3s run from 147 to 197 yards. There are two long par-4s, including the closing hole, which stretches 422 yards from the White tees. This is a semi-private resort golf course.
