Tucked behind the Gypsum Recreation Center, the Lundgren Theater is a community event space that promotes arts and creativity. This structure has an interesting story, Lundgren House was to be demolished to pave way for the Recreation Center and in a bid to preserve this historic house it was decided to relocate the home. Accordingly Lundgren House was moved and now it serves as the Lundgren Theater. Today, this modern venue has a seating capacity of 3500 guests; it hosts variety of events throughout the year. Summer concerts, drama, musicals and similar events are a regular feature here. Lundgren Theater can also be hired for private celebrations and parties. The Vail Gymnastics Center is a multi-faceted place in the Vail Recreation District that provides training in gymnastics. People of all age groups are encouraged to learn the art of coordination here. The tiny tots may be made to undergo the Preschool Gymnastics Program that heeds upon developing the basic motor skills to achieve balance. The same concept is taught to the adults too, only that the technique obviously differs. Dance, trampoline and martial arts are also taught here.

The Vail Nordic Center is a vast white stretch of 17 Kilometers that facilitate ski trails. The place also has a separate area for snowshoe trails. For all those people who are avidly interested in winter sports, Vail Nordic Center is one place you must visit. The staff here even train the visitors in skiing and skating. Imagination Station is more like a creche-cum-museum for children between the age-group of 2-12 years, open during the summers. Parents may drop their young ones to amuse themselves with the array of activities that catch their interest. The Imagination Station rests in the Lionshead Circle, above Subway, in the Vail Recreation District and provides hands-on science and other activities. There's Marble Mania, toddler play area and more.
