Ripley's operates 35 oddity museums worldwide, and the experience of visiting one is a bit like devouring a pint of ice cream; you know it's not really good for you, but boy is it fun! The Orlando collection is housed in a Bavarian-style building, deliberately disproportioned to look like part of it has disappeared into one of Florida's infamous sinkholes. Inside, you'll find such oddities as a statue of a 1,069-pound man, torture devices from the Spanish Inquisition and a replica of a 1907 Rolls Royce built from more than a million matchsticks. Vans Skatepark is conveniently located in the Festival Bay Mall on International Drive in Orlando. Characters in Flight is located on the west side of Downtown Disney a short distance south of the city of Orlando. It is a massive balloon that is tethered 400 feet over the Downtown Disney area and offers amazing, memorable sights of much of the Walt Disney World Resort properties with views as far away as 10 miles. The vividly colored and internally illuminated balloon features pictures of the most famous Disney characters and has a gondola that is big enough to accommodate 29 passengers plus the pilot. Boatwright's Dining Hall is located in Walt Disney World's Port Orleans Resort next to the main lobby.
