The Old Dundee ACL Railroad Depot is a historic landmark housing a museum that showcases the heritage of the local railroad. It displays original memorabilia and historical artifacts that offer a glimpse of the local history. The museum is free of cost, but is open for limited hours. Built in 1912, the building is featured on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Old Lake County Courthouse was a historic courthouse. This building now serves as a museum called the Lake County Historical Museum, located on its first floor. The museum offers a great glimpse of the history of Lake County, as well as various entertainment programs. Built in 1922, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.
