Robert E. Jacoby Symphony Hall showcases good acoustic symphony orchestra at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts. The stage here is 60 feet wide and the hall features a seating capacity of 1,800 at a time. There are deep blue chairs that line the rows on the main floor, first balcony and the second balcony in the Jacoby Hall. The venue hosts superb events and concerts-a real treat for the music lovers.

The Jacksonville-Baldwin Rail Trail is a 14.5-mile multi-use paved trail on Jacksonville's Westside. It goes through the northern corner of Baldwin and is used by cyclists, skaters, walkers, runners and equestrians. Distances are marked in half-mile increments, beginning at the Jacksonville end, and there are rest spots throughout with picnic tables at 5.5 miles and 12.5 miles. The eastern end of the trail is on Imeson Road, about a half-mile north of Commonwealth Avenue, west of the intersection of Commonwealth and I-295. There is no entrance fee for the trail.
Welcome to Tillie K. Fowler Regional Park, Jacksonville's largest city-maintained park, which stretches across more than 500 acres, featuring a nature education center, walking and biking trails and a wildlife watchtower. There is a year-round nature program for children, and adults can join in the outdoor classroom's educational and entertaining pastimes. Picnic areas are scattered throughout the park, with pavilions, grills, archery range and kiddy playground. The entrance is located on Roosevelt Boulevard, across from the main entrance to Jacksonville Naval Air Station southwest of downtown. There is no charge for entry into the park.
Restore yourself and head back to nature at this serene 50-acre Bethesda Park, which offers a variety of activities and amenities for individuals and groups in a picturesque natural setting. Groups should check out one of their fully equipped cabins or central lodge rooms. You will find plenty of picnic areas, as well as a boardwalk and nature trail. There is also a large lake stocked for fishing. Bethesda Park is located a few miles northwest of downtown Jacksonville.
