Located in the heart of Arts District, this building boasts a Spanish-colonial architectural style. On display are Che and Becky Guerra's collection of artwork and antiques curated from across the world. Browse through Old West guns and saddles; Mexican currency, medals and sombreros; Colonial paintings and sculptures; and authentic collectibles from Europe. The International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) is one of the top museums in South Texas dedicated to these fields. It is Smithsonian affiliated and aims to educate and inspire Rio Grande Valley with its myriad events and programs. Quinta Mazatlan is a natural oasis in the heart of McAllen. This urban sanctuary is committed to educating visitors on the environment and its conservation. Explore the tropical gardens of this former mansion and admire plants and birds as well as its Spanish Revival style architecture. Join throngs of bird watchers and catch a glimpse of house sparrows and hummingbirds, among over 500 species. Located on the campus of University of Texas-Pan America, the UTPA Fieldhouse is a basketball arena that can hold 2420 spectators.
