Boulan Park is one of Troy's five major community parks. The park boasts 3 baseball diamonds (2 or which are lighted), 8 tennis courts (all are lighted), 1 lacrosse field, 2 sand volleyball courts, 3 soccer fields, playground, and a paved walking path that spans 1.25 miles. In addition to these, the park has 2 picnic shelters. There are multiple community festivals held here throughout the year as well.

There are five major parks in Troy, and Firefigher's Park is one of them. The park totals to about 96 acres that features plenty of open grass, baseball diamond, sand volleyball court, nine soccer fields, picnic shelter and so much more. Definitely a perfect place for the weekend warriors in all of us.

Burgh Historical Park is a picturesque place to pass the time in Southfield. There is an on-site gazebo, which hosts annual concerts in the summer, and multiple flower gardens located throughout the property. See the website for more information on renting the area for private events.

The Lloyd A. Stage Nature Center sits on 100 acres of land that is meant to educate everyone young or old about the world of nature and out-doors. The underlying focus of the center is being to spread knowledge and encourage passion for nature for all those that walk through their doors.

At the Troy Museum and Historic Village you are able to explore 10 historic  buildings that have been carefully restored. Artifacts that are displayed have a history that date back to as far as 19th and early 20th century. Open year round, the museum and village is a perfect look back to the the city  of Troy's rich history.
