Though it is officially known as The Bailey Cathedral Church of God, it is better known as the Bailey Cathedral. The Christian Gospel Center of the Church of God conducts various events like workers' meetings and holy convocations here.

Wali Muhammad Mosque is the oldest place of worship of the African American Muslim community. The two-story building was once a Jewish center, but today it has a prayer hall on the top and houses a kitchen and a computer room on the ground floor. The mosque serves as a fundraising center for education and the betterment of the community as well, and sponsors local soup kitchens. Open five times a day for prayers, visitors are always welcome.
