Whether you are looking for work by established contemporary artists or for experimental exhibitions by emerging artists, you can find it at the Conduit Gallery. The main gallery is devoted to 22 of today's artistic luminaries. The annex has shown work by Denton's Good/Bad Art Cooperative, as well as Rod Northcutt and Haley Bates. Established in Deep Ellum in 1984, the gallery is located on the second floor of a renovated warehouse overlooking shops and restaurants.

A wide variety of works are available - 19th and 20th century art, as well as works by current artists of local and national fame. Bob and Maloree Banks started the business in 1979. Bob Banks is a certified appraiser, and offers installation and curating services, as well as consultation and appraisal. They also commission artists to create original works of art. Clients include businesses, art galleries and individuals.

Let your children's imaginations run free by taking them to The Dallas Puppet Theater. Shows like 'The Magic Flute' and 'Sleeping Beauty' continue to delight viewers. Before and after the show, you can get some shopping done at many of the finest stores in Dallas that are a part of the Valley View Mall. After the performances, the puppets and puppeteers are often available to speak with the audience. With 16,000 square feet of artwork and accessories, Southwest Gallery boasts one of the largest collections of original oils, graphics, antiques, sculptures and bronzes in the Southwest. The gallery also offers an extensive selection of American and European oils in a variety of styles, including contemporary, traditional, impressionistic, Western and Southwestern. W.A. Slaughter, Dan Lomahaftewa, L. Gordon, R.W. Hedge are just a few of the artists represented at the gallery.

This treasure is tucked away behind malls and chic restaurants but it's still worth a visit.  More importantly, it's the home of the Addison traveler and explorer.  Though tours are not offered of this old beauty the visitors bureau is here and can point you in the direction of many different festivals and shows in the area. Especially nice during the Christmas season, it's decorated with beautiful lights and garlands.

This historic house is a true treasure in an urban spread.  Tucked off of Beltline, beside the old cemetery is this house available for touring.  This 4-room house and stables is a fun blast to the past.  Filled with many antiques, it's a great way to show the little ones how life used to be.  Designated a Texas Historic Landmark, this free house tour will take you back to a time that seems to be lost when wandering around the Carrollton area.

Dallas has plenty of big malls but sometimes those little intimate Mom and Pop shops can be sorely missed.  For one of those reminiscent moments stop over at the Downtown Carrollton shopping area.  This old downtown still stands as a block of old shops that have been occupied by independent craft and antique sellers. 

Located in the Addison Airport, Cavanaugh Flight Museum features great historical aircraft and materials. The museum is unique since many of the museum's airplanes are still active and can fly. After a day of enjoying rare aircraft you can relax at the museum's picnic area, browse the art gallery and gift store.

Christian Chapel Temple of Faith is a beautiful church located in Dallas. Its goal is to incorporate its members into worship, and provide a house of prayer where they can restore and renew their faith in God. At the same time, it tries to combines the spiritual teaching with community service. The church has a Conference Center that the public can rent for public meetings, corporate events, conferences, fund-raiser events and concerts.
