Comfortably situated on the Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard in Dallas, the Texas Discovery Gardens are a must for any visitor to Dallas. This place is one of the only gardens to be certified as 100% organic by the Organic Research Center of Texas. The garden is surrounded by greenery and vast specimens of native plants. Besides exploring the numerous species of plants at the park, visitors can drop by to one of the ten themed areas which include a native wildlife pond, a scent garden, a Butterfly habitat, a heirloom garden and a shade garden. Visitors can also feast their eyes on majestic plants at the many exhibitions held all year long.

Situated just a few blocks away from the Park Plaza in Downtown Dallas, the Dallas City Hall is a majestic and very modern piece of architecture. Constructed by architects Theodore Musho and I.M. Pei, the building resembles an inverted pyramid. The city hall stands as the seat of Dallas's civic and government operations. Spread over seven floors, the Dallas City Hall has 1,400 workstations with very high partitions as a separator. The main area of the building is the second floor which is rightly named as the Great Court because of its high vaulted ceiling and 250 feet length.  The building also houses a conference center and an state-of-the-art auditorium. Majestic beautiful and dressed with a sea of green the Lee Park on Turtle Creek Boulevard is one of the most stunning and gorgeous parks Dallas has ever seen. Spread over nine acres of land, this pastured park has a waterfall, pavilions, a children's garden and a marvelous Croquet Court. Inside the Lee Park is the fascinating Arlington Conservancy which was set up by the combined efforts of the Dallas Southern Memorial Association, the Oak Lawn Forum, the Dallas Tavern Guild and the The Turtle Creek Association. Located in the same building as the Old Red Courthouse, the Old Red Museum aims to educate visitors about the complex and wonderful background of the city of Dallas. This beautiful building was built in 1892 and has been restored to its original wonder. The museum has fascinating exhibits and artifacts, including interactive exhibits that are perfect for any age.

Spread over a whopping 800 acres (323 hectares) of lush greenery, the Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve is the largest park in all of Plano. Families and groups take full advantage of the soft surface trail and concrete trails that run along the Rowlett Creek, offering panoramic views of some spectacular flora and fauna. There is also an amphitheater which plays host to live gigs, cultural and community events.

Spread over 11,000 square feet, the stylish Samuel Lynne Galleries promotes 21st century contemporary artists, as well as the Reflectionists. The story of the Kessler Theater began in the 1940s, when it was opened as a cinema hall. However, by the next decade, the theater had closed, and the following decades saw the building change many hands, till in the late 1990s, it lay vacant and neglected. Since the early years of the 21st Century, there were efforts to revive the theater and convert it into a multi-purpose venue, with a focus on cultural events. After several years of planning and construction, the Kessler Theater opened in 2010. Located in downtown Dallas, the Main Street Garden is a park that was created as a part of a sort of downtown revamping program of the Dallas Government. Opened in 2009, the landscaped lawns of the garden have since welcomed visitors and locals alike, whether they seek a leisure stroll, or wish to attend a concert at this park. Designed by the Landscape Architects Firm, Thomas Baisley Associates, this park has facilities like a dog run, a playground, a splash fountain, and even a cafe, called Lily Pad Cafe.
