The MacArthur Memorial is a series of four buildings, commissioned in the 1960s, to commemorate the life of one of America's most awarded military heros, Douglas MacArthur. The buildings include the MacArthur Theater, where you can see a documentary on the colorful life of the man himself; the Jean MacArthur Research Center; the museum proper; and a gift shop. The museum, in particular, is worth a visit, as it not only details MacArthur's life in full, but several wars from the Civil War to the Korean War and those who fought in them are documented.
