Over a hundred years old, this historical landmark was originally a freight, passenger and baggage dock. The post office stationed on the pier, along with a crucial section of the dock, were destroyed by the fire in 1912 and thus rebuilt. Due to several subsequent natural catastrophes, the dock has been restored three other distinct times. Today, visitors fish, relax and enjoy the ocean view and its rich history. Restroom facilities and a concession stand offer their amenities on the pier as well.
