Beers Book Center is the place to find obscure books. New and used books are offered in a variety of sections, such as film, history, diets, cooking, vegetables, gardening, natural history, psychology and sexuality. The National Geographic magazine collection is huge and includes issues almost a century old. The fiction section is strong and features non-mainstream titles. Also, the store has a nice selection of sports, metaphysics, drama, childbirth, and music titles. The decor is "lived-in, but the couches in the reading area are comfortable.
