Located in the Burbank Town Center, Sport Chalet offers everything you could want in a sporting store. Sport Chalet is a very large store with a lot of sections dedicated to different sports. The employees and knowledgeable and helpful. The store also has Scuba and PADI Certification available.

Located on the busy San Fernando Boulevard, Backside Records is a popular music store. The store sells CDs, vinyl records, posters and music themed clothing. They have a wide selection, but it is not overwhelming. You can find great bargains during their sales.

Zamba is youthful store with a lot of women's clothing and accessories. The outfits are often brightly colored and have a trendy look. Their accessories can be a hit or a miss, but the jewelry has a unique look you often can't find in department stores. The prices can be fairly steep, but you can find a great deal if you look long enough.

Macy's is a well respected department store chain, that has male and female clothing, furniture, shoes and a beauty section. The first store was open in New York in 1858 and the franchise has been going strong since. There are a lot different brands here, including Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Coach and Michael Kors. If buy an item on sale you can get a real deal.

Urban Outfitters is the place to go for youthful and fashionable clothing. There are outfits and accessories for both men and female. The outfits are trendy and casual, and often have a bohemian style. The store also has a lot of accessories and furniture, including books, shoes, games and action figures.

If you want some melt in your mouth chocolate, then stop by Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. From assorted chocolates and candied apples to chocolate dipped fruit and fudge, this place is perfect for a sweet tooth. Although there is no place to sit and eat in the store, you can take a treat to go.

Across from the Burbank Town Center, Cupcakes & Co is great for a snack or an after meal treat. In a small and brightly light store front, a glass container shows you all the cupcakes baked that day. There are a few chairs in the store, but mostly you eat your sweet on the go. You can also special order a delicious pie and cake, though you'll they'll need 24 hours to prepare.

This shopping center is packed with more than 100 shops, as well as an AMC movie theater and restaurants. Department stores include Macy's, Mervyn's and Sears. There are also plenty of gift shops, shoe shops, and women's and men's apparel shops. Most of the stores are of a mid-level price range. Credit cards accepted vary by store.

For those of you who love reading a lot more than spending, this place is the perfect destination. It stocks a wide range of used books at an incredibly cheap price. You can find a lot of great gems, especially cookbooks and old book series. Many of the store's items are in surprisingly good condition, too.

This place is a veritable warehouse of books, posters, magazines and other memorabilia relating to the movie business. As with any collectible shop, the stock comes and goes as often as most Hollywood careers do. Considering the nature of many items, especially those that are autographed, prices can be a little intimidating. But, for those well-versed in collectible shops (and know what to expect), this one's a gem.
