The first reaction to Richard's Rainwater is shock, then surprise and awe, and finally a feel-good smile. Richard Heinichen was thirsty. He did what most of us wouldn't. Catch rainwater before it hits the ground(through a non-chlorinated closed loop system of pipes and filters, for those interested), purified it, bottled it and voila! Recycled bottled "cloud juice", as pure as it gets. Word's gotten out about his ingeniously simple enterprise and people from all around don't mind driving out to Tank Town World Headquarters (Richard's bottling facility) to buy a case or two. Sure, it's more convenient to order bottles online, but who wouldn't want to shake Richard's hand?

If there's one cheese vegans choose to eat, it's Pure Luck Goat Cheese. Just this fact speaks volumes about Pure Luck. The cheese are made from the milk of Nubian and Alpine goats and have just the right consistency and tang. Take your pick from the variety of Chevre, Feta and the much acclaimed Del Cielo. Pure Luck Goat Cheese can be bought at various locations in Austin including Central Market, the Wheatsville Food Co-Op and Wink. You could also consider a scheduled tour of the farm (the farm is closed to general visitors). Given the countryside ride and the cheese, that's two good incentives right there.
