Boulder's bohemian image would not be complete with out the Beat Book Shop. The eccentric shop keeps the Beat subculture alive. A vast selection features titles from all genres but focuses on the wandering literary spirits of the 50s and 60s. You will find works by Allen Ginsberg, a local Boulderite until his death in 1997, Jack Kerouac, William Burroughs, Gary Snyder, and Denver native, Neil Cassidy. Browse new and used fiction, literature and poetry. A number of first editions are available.
