Franklin is filled with buildings of historical significance. One of these structures is The Factory. This was the former home of the Dortch Stove Works, Magic Chef, and later the Jamison Bedding Company. A National Historic Landmark, it is now home to shopping and meeting spaces. Specialty shops such as art galleries, fashion boutiques and photographer's studios fill the storefronts inside. Meeting space is available in three areas, accommodating up to 5,000 people and perfect for a wedding or business conference.
