Steak is what is on the menu at Anna's Steakhouse! T-bones, ribeye, filet mignon and prime rib, along with a couple of shrimp and chicken choices. Everything comes with baked potato or fries, salad and rolls. The decor is simple. The adjacent dining room is called the Humes Room. Humes High School is Elvis' alma mater (1953) and owner Miss Anna's (1964). Photos, hall passes and many other items are on display.

1355 Highway 61 North
Tunica, MS 38676
Many customers are called by name at this local favorite. The breakfast menu offers Southern favorites like Tennessee ham with gravy, eggs, biscuits and choice of grits or hash browns. Lunch offerings include hamburgers, catfish, or oysters on a bun. More substantial meal entrees include chicken and fried quail with gravy. If you are hungry, try the seafood platter, a fried assortment of scallops, shrimp, oysters, stuffed shrimp and frog legs. Rips in the upholstery testify these seats have seen a lot of wear, but the place is clean, the food is good and the waitresses are chatty.

Owner/chef Donna Harmon trained at the New York Culinary Institute and in Europe. For the past six years she's been delighting palates in historic downtown Tunica. Daily lunch specials feature regional country fare, such as chicken spaghetti, ham and bean soup and homemade rolls. On the weekend, dinner offerings include Angus beef steaks and a variety of pastas. Don't pass on the homemade desserts, including banana pudding and apple pie. Sundays, there's a champagne brunch. A full bar is open on weekends. The atmosphere is nice casual and the chef frequently chats with patrons.

Lunchtime brings blue plate specials, home-style vegetables and a variety of hearty sandwiches. If you are picking up lunch for the whole office, call ahead and your order will be ready when you arrive. 7838 Church Street
Millington, TN 38053
Located in a restored 1870s building that formerly housed a general store, Miss Sipp's Catfish Saloon offers a relaxed country setting that suits the menu. Come here for the fried catfish-it is lightly breaded with flour and cornmeal and is served with slightly sweet coleslaw, hush puppies and pickle relish. You do not just get a tiny plastic cup of tartar sauce here-it is brought to the table in a squeeze bottle. The service is friendly, the accents are Southern, and refills on the iced tea are free.

7918 C Street
Millington, TN 38053
This restaurant, noted for its barbecue and catfish, is located in a building that housed a train station years ago. In keeping with the property's history, the decor features wood plank floors, old photos and an electric train that constantly circles the dining room. Locals tend to hang out here. The menu features Southern-style vegetables and daily specials. What might take some diners by surprise are the frequently offered Creole-style dishes and sauces. The chef here hails from New Orleans. Ask for the Muffaletta, even it is not listed on the daily specials menu, and you would surely return for more!

7967 B Street
Millington, TN 38053
Somewhat out of the way, this little shop serves up hearty helpings of pork barbecue. The open kitchen occupies most of the store. Four tables for two line the front window, but most of the eatery's business comes from take-out orders. Along with barbecue sandwiches and plates, the menu features spaghetti, hot wings, ribs, catfish and barbecue bologna daily. On Fridays you can order chitterlings. If you do not already know what chitlins are, you might not want to ask, it might spoil your appetite. The restaurant also caters events, large and small.
