The perfect American breakfast is incomplete without pancakes. If you are looking for just that, then IHOP is the place for you! The traditional dishes still rule the roost, but dishes like buttermilk pancakes, pigs in blanket still grace the menu. Amongst breakfast items, popular ones include omelets, crepes and waffles. For dinner, hot favorites are chicken roasted in herbs, pot roast and T-bone steak. Amongst old favorites is Rooty-Tooty Fresh'-n-Fruity. One great aspect of IHOP is that senior citizens are taken care of. Smaller meals with lower rates are offered to them. They also have a special kids menu.

"Best Of Flagstaff is a widely known name throughout town for carrying an astonishing range of fine meat and cheeses, including a full line of Boarshead deli meats. The staff gladly share their extensive knowledge about their products with patrons as they make a selection, which can be a bit tricky given the variety. The market also supplies kiosks at Flagstaff farmers markets, as well as supplying several outfitting and outdoor activity and tour companies with packed lunches for excursions. Just want a sandwich to go? Randall's can help you there too! -Herman Sims
The quintessential Route 66 roadhouse, this is the place any road-weary traveler will want to stop for good, no-nonsense home cooking. Even if you're not on the road, you'll want to stop by anyway. The sassy service, no-frills eats and quaint atmosphere are truly priceless. As you might expect, breakfast is a big thing here featuring made-from-scratch pancakes and the usual diner fare. The fries are freshly cut, and the proprietors butcher their own meats for extra juicy burgers and steaks.
Three miles north of Flagstaff Mall on State Route 89, this rustic mountain lodge serves up Sterling Silver Certified Premium USDA Choice steaks to discerning carnivores. Consistently named the area's best steakhouse for nearly a decade by the Arizona Daily Sun, it is a great place to experience the cowboy culture of the Southwest. In addition to steaks, a few poultry, pork and seafood dishes are offered. Full bar service is available. Opens from Monday to Saturday at 5p.
When you see the large dragon on the sign and the Chinese lettering on the building, you'll know you've arrived at one of Flagstaff's most versatile Asian restaurants. The menu offers Cantonese, Mandarin, Hunan and Szechuan dishes, and a daily buffet is served from 11a-2p. If you have a favorite Chinese dish, you're likely to find it on the extensive, but not expensive, menu. The interior decor continues to play on the dragon theme and the staff is always eager to please.
In what may seem like a sea of Chinese restaurants in the Flagstaff area, this one stands out for its health-conscious offerings. Low calorie and low- or no-salt options are featured on the table-service menu and lunch buffet. Vegetarians will find this an especially appetizing eatery. Fresh vegetables are plentiful in nearly all dishes, and care is taken to monitor the nutritional value of each item. The restaurant is cheery, the staff accommodating and the prices very reasonable at $4-8 for most menu items. Beer and wine are available.
