Lam's Garden is on Colonial Drive near Bumby Avenue in a shopping mall, but don't let that keep you away from its authentic Chinese cuisine. The interior is spacious and the atmosphere is welcoming. Diners can choose from two menus: a red one with authentic Chinese dishes or a green one that offers American-style Chinese. You can even select your main course from one of the massive tanks just inside the door, which is filled with live lobsters, fish, crabs and clams, if you're in the mood for fresh seafood. The menu features a variety of choices of sashimi, sushi and robataki that are served tapas-style. The full sake bar offers a variety of drink specials, including the popular Saketinis. On Saturdays when the kitchen closes, the lounge continues to say open!
Bananas Diner is located northeast of Downtown Orlando in the popular Mills 50 District. This diner serves fresh-made comfort food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or late night snacking on the weekends. Open 24-hours on the weekends, late-night customers descend here after all the clubs in town have closed. The décor is quite funky with an abundance of black and red vinyl throughout the restaurant. Many customers come to Bananas Diner for the distinctive shows provided several times a week.
