Company of the Cauldron is an interesting name, isn't it? With a name like that, you should be dining at midnight under a full moon at a crossroads. Instead, this restaurant is one of the most romantic places to eat on Nantucket. The menu changes weekly, so you will always be assured of something new. A classical harpist plays three times a week. If you want to take part in this dining experience, you will need to make reservations well in advance as the restaurant only has two seatings a night. The Cauldron serves beer and wine.

Oddly enough, it's a little difficult to find authentic Japanese cuisine on an island populated by New Englanders. Go figure. Filling the void is Sushi By Yoshi. The sushi is, in fact, prepared by Yoshi himself who was born and raised in Tokyo and is now bringing Nantucket a taste of the east. You can enjoy a menu of sushi as wide as you are likely to find. The Ropewalk is not one of those restaurants where the menu covers a whole bunch of different food groups. It is, for the most past, seafood, fitting for a restaurant that sits right on the water. Enjoy dinner entrees like pan-seared wasabi-encrusted tuna, steamed Nantucket lobster, or the Ropewalks own surf 'n turf combination of shrimp wrapped in prosciutto.
