More than a hundred exotic dishes are offered here. For appetizers, split the Thai combination with a dining companion and you can taste several-Spring Rolls, Thai Toast, Satay and Won Tons with dipping sauces. Try the memorable Pad Thai noodle dish with chicken and shrimp and a delightful duck dish with cashews and vegetables (Ped Ma Muang Himapan). Many vegetarian options are offered. Asian beers make a great accompaniment. This comfortable spot offers quiet dinners for two, and is also appropriate for larger gatherings.

You may have seen Robert's Creekside Cafe peach cobbler featured on the "Regis Show," but that's just one of the many reasons to visit this casual, comfortable, creek-side cafe. The menu of classic cuisine with Southwestern accents include freshly made beignets and omelettes at breakfast, piled-high sandwiches, garden salads and pastas for lunch and innovative preparations of seafood, steaks and poultry dishes at dinner. The wine list has quite a good selections and on weekends, live entertainment is featured.

Cliff Castle Casino's fine dining venue is designed to replicate a cave-dwelling, with jagged rock walls and diffused lighting. The table-settings are Southwestern formal, with starched cloths and fine china, making this an unusual, though strangely appealing upscale dining venue. The menu puts an Arizona spin on classic steak, poultry and seafood preparations. A guest favorite is the papaya-glazed chicken. Dinner entrées run from $14-25. Wines by the glass start at about $5. The casino also has a Johnny Rockets 50s-style diner, a bakery/deli and several themed lounges.

This upscale but casual microbrewery produces some of the state's finest lagers and ales, and now also serves wines and champagnes to a typically young clientele. To go along with the golden elixirs, choose from bar-style appetizers, sandwiches and entrees that are created to complement the brews. Pub fare is offered in its Bavarian Kitchen (open 4p-8:30p nightly). Wednesday night is ladies' night, with drink specials for female patrons. Live entertainment on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays includes mellow rock, folk and blues performances.

Tacked onto the White House Inn in West Sedona, this tiny place offers nutritious and natural cuisine. Secure one of the counter seats, or one of the few tables in the pastel painted dining room. The Pad Thai noodles with chicken and veggies are popular, and pleasing curries (available with chicken, beef, shrimp or tofu) are also available. The "Vegetable Lovers" section features a macrobiotic platter "specially prepared at your request a day ahead of time by Pearl who studied at The Vega Institute." Menu items are priced from $3.50-12.95, with Thai teas and soft drinks $1-$2.

Owners Irena and Jerry Crandall use the traditional kettle-boiling method to ensure that their products are authentic, fresh and flavorful. Stop by this casual, New York deli-style eatery for a breakfast sandwich, or one of 18 varieties including apple walnut, cranberry orange pecan or their special Vortexx bagel. Lunch menus include the "Beast and Bagel" (roast beef with veggies and cheese) or the "Touch of Champagne" (oven-roasted turkey breast, honey maple ham with champagne mustard). Soups, salads, espresso and Cappuccinos round out the menu.

This oasis is tucked away in Tlaquepaque Village and specializes in innovative breakfast and luncheon fare. Among the organic and pesticide-free selections, you will find a morning quiche bar, Foccacia French Toast, Baked Brie and Artichoke Salad, "Secret" Shrimp Samba (with coconut and red curry marinated shrimp and sizzled ginger noodles) and a Twice-Baked Goat Cheese Souffle with braised figs and pecans. Diners enjoy meals in a garden setting, replete with flourishing foliage, sculptures and comfortable furnishings. The cafe features jazz music on weekends.

Across from the Red Planet Diner, this mini-deli specializes in authentic New York style bagels. Breakfast and deli sandwiches ($3.25-4.95) are served from the counter. Bagels are also available by the dozen for $6. Decor and atmosphere are sparse, with a few old black and white New York photos hanging around the microscopic storefront. This is a place where locals know enough to stake out tables early, so unless you know the routine, you had better plan to order take-out.

The Junipine Resort's charming cafe is an idyllic setting for dinner, but you can also catch a country-style breakfast or hearty lunch here. The stunning stone structure has plenty of windows that look out onto Oak Creek Canyon, which surrounds the property. Rustic pine paneling, floors and furnishings give the restaurant a lodge-like atmosphere and a crackling fireplace adds to the warmth. Patio seating is available during the warmer months. The dinner menu consists of steaks, ribs, seafood and pastas with local trout a specialty.
