Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta is a cool hangout, where you can go with friends and family. The eatery doles out contemporary dishes with an emphasis on pastas. The food is definitely delicious and they hand out generous portions. All sorts of people come here to enjoy a meal, so obviously the ambience is comfortable and relaxed. There is a seated bar inside the restaurant with a lot to choose from so don't miss that one out! Expect to wait to get a table because it is a pretty popular eatery and don't forget to take a look at the mural on the ceiling while you are here!

This restaurant has been a part of Martha's Vineyard for more than 70 years. You will find everything from pasta and sirloin, to fried clams and scallops on the menu at Giordano's, but it is best known for fabulous pizza. A pie costs a reasonable amount and there are 20 different toppings to choose from. If you are dining in, the atmosphere is relaxed and a great place to bring the children. Be aware, smoking is permitted in select areas only.

This seaside restaurant has been rated the best family restaurant on the island and the best outdoor dining spot. Feast on fish and chips (8.95) or splurge with the steamed island lobster (15.95), said to be the best-priced lobster on Martha's Vineyard. The setting is casual and an outdoor patio is open when the sun shines. While you relax and enjoy the spectacular view, the children will be entertained by passing boats and jumbo hot dogs.

A meat smoker in the back of this restaurant and a pile of hickory, oak, apple and mesquite wood stacked nearby sets the stage for a flavorful feast. Smoke 'n Bones, the island's only rib joint, opened in 1997. The food is great and the kids will get a kick out of the marble bone doorknobs and the hole cut in each tabletop for discarded ribs. Like any restaurant of its kind, take-out is a large part of the business. Call ahead for hours of operation.

The crab cakes Tulum-made with peppers and cilantro and served with salsa and Mexican cream-is a house specialty ($16.95). A children's menu, a wine list and selection of desserts are also available.

This restaurant has been called "the most romantic restaurant on Martha's Vineyard" and many consider it the best, considering the ocean view enjoyed from every table. The menu, which changes daily during the peak season, features regional cuisine with an island twist, and guests can choose from a four-course prix fix or order a la carte. Beef Wellington has been a staple for 45 years, and there are always selections of locally caught seafood, often seasoned with herbs grown on the grounds. It also accommodates catered functions for up to 200 guests.
