This restaurant was originally opened in 1958 by Italian immigrant Frank Iodice, and the current owner has been operating it since 1993. Restaurant specialties include beef on weck and a Friday fish fry. Appetizers include homemade soups and frank's steak salad (New York strip served on a bed of greens topped with Gorgonzola cheese). Finger foods include wings, stuffed hot peppers and spinach bread. In addition to their notable beef on weck, they serve a variety of sandwiches, including burgers, grilled cheese, marinated chicken, and even a fried bologna steak with onions. This family owned and operated Mexican grill features Mexican favorites made from family recipes, and from scratch. Chicken dishes include pollo con crema (chicken strips cooked in a sour cream sauce and served with rice and beans), chiaquiles (tortilla chips topped with cheese, rice, lettuce, tomato, guacamole and a special sauce) and pollo adobe (a grilled marinated chicken breast topped with mushroom slices, spinach, peppers and onions, all topped with a special cheese sauce). They also sell several seafood selections, like shrimp quesadilla and pescado mazatiece (fish covered with a special sauce). Some of their specialty items include a Grande Special which includes chalupa, chile relleno enchilada, beef taco, and beef burrito, served with rice and beans. Milos is a Greek restaurant owned and operated by the Kollidas family. The restaurant's name means "windmill" in Greek, and it serves authentic Greek cuisine. It is located in the building which once housed two other restaurants, Marinaccio's, and before that, the Little White House. The Kollidas family also owns The Family Tree Restaurant on Bailey Avenue and Swiston's Beef and Keg in Tonawanda. The décor is very contemporary, with lots of light from large windows and a huge bar area. Breakfast is served all day, with both Greek and American dishes. If you are there for lunch or dinner, start out your dining experience with a classic Greek appetizer, meze, which includes four dips with pita, or the classic Greek soup, avgolemono. This small, intimate restaurant, which opened in 1984, features Northern Italian cuisine. It is family-owned and operated by Nancy and Frank Grimaldi. Frank grew up in Italy as the son of two private chefs, and his skill in the kitchen has made San Marco one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. The restaurant is very elegant, especially the very intimate wine room which only has a few tables. Menu items include penne all'arrabita (penne pasta in a spicy tomato sauce) and vittello della nonna (veal scallopini with white wine, herbs, cheese, and grilled eggplant in a fresh tomato sauce). One of the most popular menu items is the lobster ravioli. Actually, anything you order from the menu is good and the service is excellent to boot.
