This Charlestown neighborhood bakery and cafe serves good coffee and tasty treats. You will find fresh-baked muffins, scones, croissants and pecan sticky buns here. For a fast lunch, the noon menu includes roughly two dozen different sandwiches and salad plates, including daily specials. This establishment also serves desserts. This small and sunny cafe has a cozy atmosphere. A friendly staff and loyal patrons keeps the place buzzing with conversation. During warm weather, a patio area provides extra seating. Does not accept credit cards; accepts cash only.

Legal Sea Foods is synonymous with good seafood in Boston. Boasting a traditional clam chowder that has been served at five presidential inaugurations, the restaurant also offers a "light" chowder for diet-conscious diners. Steamed lobster dinners are always a good choice, or any of the other dishes made from their selection of 30 fresh fish varieties offered daily, served baked, broiled, steamed or fried. Raw shellfish, salads and vegetables are also available. Legal Sea Foods has a mail-order service, function space and catering. This seafood hot spot has locations throughout Boston and other cities around the U.S., but the location at Long Wharf may just be the best.

Referred to as "The Best Exotic and Moroccan Eatery" and Boston's most romantic restaurant, Tangierino offers everything from an intimate atmosphere to live belly dancing entertainment and a hookah lounge. The restaurant has an impressive wine list and serves traditional Moroccan food to decadent, modern desserts. For appetizers, try the Maine Sea Scallops, encrusted with pistachios and glazed with Grand Marnier, or the ever-popular four-layer Tuna Tartar. Dating back to 1780, this restaurant and bar is located near the Freedom Trail, has plenty history of its own. It was opened by Captain Eliphelet Newell who, it is said, took part in the Boston Tea Party. Famous visitors included Paul Revere and George Washington. Today, it has lace-curtain windows and low, wood-beamed ceilings that create an intimate feel. Try the Tavern Special-chicken breast and shrimp sautéed with sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli florets, prosciutto ham and provolone cheese in a garlic white wine sauce.

This eatery is located in Westwood in the Greater Boston area, on Route 109. Start off with appetizers like the Duck and Foie Gras Terrine, or the Ceviche of Diver Scallops with Maine Lobster.
