On a quiet corner on the edge of the Lockerbie Square area sits one of the jewels of the Indianapolis dining scene. Amici's is a modest neighborhood Italian joint, but it shines like a culinary star straight out of the old country. Pizzas are primo. Pastas are too. The chicken liver plate takes you right back to the village piazza, watching old men toss bocce balls. But as transportative as the cuisine may be, your psyche might resist, being that this is one of the most warm and inviting dining rooms in the state.
