This historic restaurant has been around since the 1930's, and stands on the site of a 17th century fort constructed to protect the small village of Springfield. Today, the Student Prince still stands in the same building with its original interior woodworking and has been voted one of 21 Legendary Restaurants You Must Visit by Gourmet Magazine. The menu is mainly German, with a varitey of Schnitzel and Wurst along with other German specialties, but also has a smattering of other classics such as Chicken Marsala and Rack of Lamb. The menu also includes some more unusual options such as Marinated Grilled Ostrich, Pig's Knuckle and Grilled Baby Beef Liver for more adventurous diners.
