For a perfectly-cooked, perfectly-flavored steak, dine at Ruth's Chris Steak House. The steakhouse takes pride in the food they serve, and ensure that their customers have only the best. The service staff is efficient and prompt and are absolutely polite. If you'd like to go beyond just the steak, that would be a good choice too. Ask for the house specials before ordering and enjoy your meal!

Scott Zepp and Matt LaFon combined their passion for beer and entrepreneurial spirit to conceive the first World Of Beer in Tampa back in 2007. After much success and popularity, the brand franchised to cater to beer aficionados across the country. The impressive selection of brews features top-labeled lagers, ales and drafts, to please connoisseurs and amateurs of the beverage alike. Music is a dimension well-fabricated into the experience, with the space having staged several emerging alternative bands and live gigs. The friendly service and their insistence on an at-home vibe have won them accolades and patrons aplenty.

A cute little bakery and restaurant, Guglhupf Café gives you the best of both! The food served here is mostly German, with a blend of the local flavors. This cafe can safely be termed a local favorite, especially for the breakfast/brunch. The place does get a bit crowded, so try and make reservations. The service is excellent. The waitstaff is polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Ask for suggestions and you will not be disappointed.

Never a disappointing visit at La Residence. A great place for an informal dinner with French food. Mind you the food is pretty pricey here, but well-worth it. The service staff is professional and will make sure you are well looked after. Ask the staff for suggestions on what to order, you will be surprised with some very good choices. The wine list features a good selection.

For unmatched food quality, and taste, dine at R&R Grill. What's so great about eating at a bar? Well to begin with, none of the food out here is prepared the conventional way. R&R Grill adds its twist to regular dishes, making them exotic and irresistible. Some of the favorites here include the Patty Melt and the New Sizzling Wings. The menu features a good selection of beers.

201-C East Main Street
Southern Rail
Carrboro, NC 27510

Folks in Carrboro from the end of 19th Century wouldn't have imagined that the station building on the East Main Street would one day be a major hangout for the locals and tourists alike. Staying true to its role in 1970s and 1980s as a venue for live music, the heavily refurbished The Station at Southern Rail is a popular haunt for live music, hosting not just the local artists/ bands but also those on tour. The bar's historic stature is further upheld by the bar table which was made in 1917 for The Washington Hotel in Washington. Backed by various concerts on weekdays and DJ shows on weekends (no cover charge), the atmosphere is electric. Food options are a plenty and for those who cannot do without a cigarette smoke, the bar has outdoor seating where you can watch the world go by as you sip from a glass of beer.
