French for "The Enclosure," Amelia Island's premiere French restaurant adds a dash of European culture to this small community. Light music adds intimacy to this cozy spot that comes complete with candlelight and a cottage setting. Master Chef-owner Katherine Ewing was trained in France and creates such treasures as a chicken and pork liver pate, escargots, or Crabe Farci, a crabmeat cake served with assorted peppers and pineapple relish. Entrees might include Coquilles St Jacques a la Provenal or a catch of the day with an irresistible sauce.
Catch a performance at this experimental theatre, which presents the audience with new ideas including classic musicals, comedies and dramas but with a twist. The troupe also introduces new playwrights to the public in support of alternative theatre. The season consists of approximately five performances.
