Vivoli Cafe & Trattoria is a cozy venue to enjoy a comfortable Italian meal. The menu showcases classic dishes like Fettuccine Alfredo con Pollo, Agnolotti di Aragosta and Branzino con Capperi e Limone that are marvellous. There are pizzas too which are equally brilliant. A good hang out place for the locals, it assures a good time and plenty of great memories. The staff is welcoming and takes good care of the diners. The service though a bit slow, is efficient. Peruse through their wine list for several good drinks. The prix-fixe meals are also worth the price.

This local favorite is one of the smaller casinos in town, but it is definitely big on Nevada-style fun. The busy gaming area features all the action you would expect such as Keno, slots and blackjack. When you get hungry, you can choose from two great restaurants both with excellent food and great prices. Your favorite cocktails are also available at the full-service bar. The atmosphere is cozy, down-home-western-style, and the employees are some of the friendliest in town.
1036 East Fourth Street Reno, NV 89512 +1 775 348 6494
This fun restaurant offers both tasty food and live music. Housed in a brick building on historic Fourth Street, this place features some quirky items on the menu. There is the Meatloaf Dinner with mashed potatoes and veggies, a true blue favorite. Check out the Southeastern Asian Pizza with chicken and peanut sauce or try the Caliente Pizza with habenero sauce and jalapenos. On Wednesday nights, it pays tribute to the "Stinking Rose" with Garlic Night. It is also a go-to place for breakfast and brunch; Big Ed's serves up an excellent Bloody Mary.
This Se7en is the sister of the original Se7en on North Arlington Avenue and everything that they do, the West Street version does just as well - even better. The location is more spacious, making it a better venue for live music. There is an excellent, very fairly priced wine list and the sangria comes highly recommended. And, of course, Se7en serves up many different kinds of tea, all of which are easily enjoyed in the spacious, comfortable lounge. Call for opening hours.
Reno has its very own Knitting Factory - a trendy music and entertainment venue that is in four other locations in the country. It's one of the city's best music venues; a diverse range of artists come here, from top names to cover bands. It's also the place for special occasion party nights - Halloween is particularly notable - and local music is also championed. Check the website for details of upcoming events.
Se7en, in its original location, placed much more emphasis on the tea side of things; since moving to its latest location, the tea has taken a back seat to delicious cocktails (although you can still get a decent cup). A DJ plays at the weekend and grown-up atmosphere attracts a lot of loyal locals. There is also a decent selection of food available, mainly encompassing soup, sandwiches and other light bites. Call for Sunday opening hours.

Red Dog Saloon is certainly one of the leading music venues in town. In 1960s, it was popular for the rock and roll music played here and it continues to entertain audiences with amazing gigs. Along with live music concerts, Red Dog Saloon is renowned for its tasty pizzas and short eats. This combination of good food and great music, makes the visit worthwhile.
