Don't let the name 'The Library' lure into thinking that this is a book lover's paradise full of shelves stacked to the brim with never-ending titles. This happening spot is hardly that! The Library in fact, is a club for night owls to let their hair down and party the night away. Featuring a regular line-up of themed nights and gigs by local and national names, this club is the place to be for some fresh and original music. The club doesn't have any strict dress code policies but permits a crowd that is 18 years and older. With tantalizing spirits to further intoxicate the senses, and tasty bar food to appease your tastebuds-there is no better place to spend the weekend nights then at the vibrant Library.

The Hilltop Tavern is located in East Sac, nestled between nice houses and big shopping centers. It's not exactly a great spot for bar-hopping, but it is a fun place to hang out if you're in the area and not into the crowded midtown scene. Hilltop has cheap drinks, a friendly atmosphere, two large pool tables, and a pinball machine in the corner. It's good for big groups and people who don't want to shout over each other to speak.

This theatre is a Sacramento landmark. Its exterior is reminiscent of a typical 1950s movie theatre, and its interior is a showcase of movie memorabilia. Occasionally, the theatre will show a just-released film on one of its three screens; however, it is known more for showing artistic and foreign films.
