The bright and colorful facade of this centrally located restaurant is hard to miss and sets the tone straight for what you're going to experience here. The restaurants interiors and decor are a riot of colors with everything from the chairs to the murals sporting a theme and a dash of color. The mellow palette on the walls however, provides a good contrast to this. As the name suggests, the menu is full of Tex-Mex specialties ranging from Nachos and Quesadillas to Fajitas and a superb selection of entrees. The bar has an excellent selection of draft beer as well as tequilas. Don't miss the delicious margaritas. Regular fun events like karaoke and DJ nights up the fun factor and attract a large young crowd on weekends. The restaurant has a strong focus on the environment and strives to be as eco-friendly as possible. Established in 1984, this local institution has been around for some time now and is one of the city's favorites for a fun and casual meal.

The majestic Victorian building that houses the The Columbia bar stands as a visual surprise among the more standardized buildings in this peaceful area. Looks however, belie the fact that The Columbia dates back to the 19th Century and is probably the oldest in Phoenixville. During this time, the faithful watering hole has seen the town go from glory to decline and back again, and it has weathered on. It's no wonder that patrons can still feel the history of the place despite the fact that the interiors have been renovated. If you're not much for history though, it's still a good bet with a excellent selection of American grilled specialties with some classics that have stood the test of time. The bar menu features a diverse spirit list with cocktails, martinis and more to satiate most tastes. A must visit when in Phoenixville.

An innovative approach to modern American cooking and focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients makes Sycamore, a standout among the city's dining options. Chef Sam Jacobson presents an interesting menu featuring a great selection of classics as well as his own contemporary takes on American food. The restaurant firmly believes in local ingredients and has tie-ups with a number of farms in the region; one of the reasons why their menu changes seasonally. The chef's tasting menu available on Thursdays is a popular affair. Another interesting feature here is the BYOB option that not only encourages patrons to get their favorite spirits, but also to try mixing them with their selection of cocktails; an exciting prospect for patrons.
