Eclipse has one of the best old-wave nights in Jacksonville, with DJs spinning an endless assault of 80s hits. The dance floor, especially on Friday nights, becomes so packed with dancers that movement becomes limited. It draws a definite younger crowd so expect a lot of kids with backward baseball caps. The establishment occasionally opens its doors to kids under twenty-one. Drink specials vary, depending on the night.

The Lazzara Performance Hall at the University of North Florida Fine Arts Center is a 1,000-seater hall named after Gasper and Irene Lazzara, who have contributed a larger sum towards the hall via donations. It is one of the best performance venues technically and has staged many great pieces and artists, both seasoned as well students.
