Edison's Pub Import Beer Parlor wears many hats. As its subtitle implies, it specializes in a variety of beers, from California's Anchor Steam, to Belgium's Chimay, to Spanish, Mexican, German, Irish, and even Polish beers. Edison's also has live music each Saturday, generally blues bands. Finally, it also offers a menu of pizza, sandwiches and salads. Specialty pizzas include pesto pizza, or chicken bacon ranch pizza, or a Hawaiian pizza with ham, pineapple and bacon. Sandwiches include The Tremont, with roast beef, salami, ham, turkey and mozzarella on ciabatta bread, or a customizable veggie sub. Salads include a small side salad or a larger Starkweather with hummus, banana peppers, olives, and feta. - Marjorie Jensen

Midwestern foodies often mourn the lack of variation in restaurant menus with the change of seasons. They won't be disappointed at Chef Rocco Whalen's Fahrenheit, which has a seasonal menu that incorporates the best meat, fruits, veggies and spices available each season. Patrons are assured of fresh and sumptuous fare. Pizzas, pasta, salads, steak and seafood form the staple menu. The martini bar at Fahrenheit is refreshingly innovative. Private dining space for a party of fifty can be arranged.

The Harp is an Irish pub, and while its menu includes some expected Irish fare, it's also filled with American and other dishes. Some decidedly non-Irish examples include Quesadillas, a Spicy Garlic Chicken Panini, or a Turkey Reuben. Of course, there are plenty of Irish options, like a Hot Corned Beef Sandwich or The Harp's specialty Boxty Cakes - Irish potato pancakes. The Harp offers five different kinds of Boxty's: steak, chicken, salmon, vegetarian and corned beef. As a pub, The Harp has a full bar and eleven different beers on tap, including Guiness and Harp. -Marjorie Jensen

The exterior of this bar cum restaurant is unpretentious but once you enter Johnny's Bar it's a pleasant surprise. A truly fancy bar, the interiors are warm and welcoming. The refined architecture and superb service makes it very popular among people in Cleveland. Sit at the bar and enjoy a range of cocktails or chat with friendly bartenders here. If you fancy something to eat, then try their Italian fish, Egg Pappardelle Pasta, Medallions of Veal and many such sumptuous fares. A great eatery and an equally great bar. Hidden away in Ohio City, Touch Supper Club offers both an upscale dining experience and a dance club. One section of the restaurant is for dining and another for dancing. The entertainment usually features DJs spinning a variety of music from salsa to '80s, to indie and alternative. The menu is upscale American, generally simple in concept but with unique touches. For example, one of the entrées is a roasted chicken, with capers, sundried tomatoes, sides, and a lemon parsley sauce. Touch also offers staples like a Touch Burger with secret sauce, or mac & cheese with fancy cheese, ham, and peas. Vegetarian options include a vegan roots dish or mushroom pizza. A night club for gays and lesbians, this place is always crowded with people, especially during special nights. Wednesdays is Ladies' Night, when there are drag shows that are crowd pullers. Food and drinks are served here at the restaurant where you can have a grub before proceeding for the fun evening event. Famous for its hospitality and of course the great music played here, the club continues to be a favorite among locals and a trend setter in its own way. There's a video cafe and a pool table to try a hand at.
