Camp Ben McCulloch was established in the year 1904 and named after Benjamin McCulloch, the slain soldier of the Texan Revolution. Originally a park that hosted the popular Annual Camp Ben Reunion, the place is now regarded as a top event venue in Driftwood. It houses three delightful event spaces, the Area "A" - The Tabernacle, Area "B" - The Cafe and Area "C" - The Dance Pavilion. Concerts, dance shows, cultural programs, reunions and a host of other parties are held in these rental spaces.
