It first started in 1966, opened by then owner Henry LoConti Sr., and was one of the first venues where entertainment for young people was encouraged and conducted. The theater has a ballroom and bar that can accommodate around 500 people, and a theater that can seat just under 2,000 people. The venue is also home to the Halloween party thrown by a local band called Mushroomhead.
