CATS features young actors and technicians in every production. More than 20,000 patrons from across North Texas visit the theater each year. The professional-level productions often represent the first contact with live theater for many children in Dallas and Fort Worth communities. Portable sets and sound systems allow CATS touring groups the ability to present concerts and plays to PTAs, nursing homes, libraries, and various other community service organizations. The performing arts training received from CATS has led many alumnae to continue their art education at prestigious schools throughout the country, including the Boston Conservatory of Music and Harvard University. The school offers various levels of classes for ages four through adult, including acting, creative dramatics, musical theater, technical theater, tap, jazz, ballet and modern dance. Throughout the year, specialty workshops and private voice lessons are also available.
