This historic South Loop mansion was designed and built in 1870 by Otis L. Wheelock for Calvin Wheeler, the former president of the Chicago Board of Trade. The Segers imported all of the furniture from Europe. They restored every inch of the building's interior, including the Minton-Hollins tiles on the floors of the guest bathrooms.
