Innkeeper Peter Dunlop has three antique furnished guest rooms with private baths in this 1850 Victorian-era inn, which was once home to a number of prominent East Aurora families. He only uses two of the rooms at a time, however, to insure guest privacy. The Griggs Room features an English wraparound brass bed, while the Van Keuren Room has an 1830s four-poster canopy bed. The Schriber Room has a Gothic-style golden oak bedroom set. The centerpiece of the inn is the 21' x 16' conservatory that features three walls of seven foot high windows. The manicured grounds outside include numerous lilac bushes which bloom in spring. A full breakfast, featuring Peter's signature egg casserole, is served each morning. - Christine A. Smyczynski
